Individual Psychotherapy

Therapy is a space where you can openly express and share your emotions without judgement in a safe space with someone who is trained to help guide you towards your goals and hope. I believe therapy can be a place where you can explore yourself and tap into your inner wisdom, strength and beauty that is within you all along. In my practice, I create a compassionate space where your emotional depth is not only welcomed but celebrated. I draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Somatic Work, Polyvagal Theory, and Mindfulness practices to create a personalized path. Many of my clients identify as highly sensitive, empathic, people pleasers, perfectionists overachievers, or anxious individuals who may feel overwhelmed or misunderstood. Clients may come in for therapy seeking to understand themselves better and their relationships with their partner or families. Therapy is collaborative, as we work together to become curious about patterns you are noticing in your life and begin to create new ways to navigate your inner and outer world.

The lotus is a symbol across many spiritual traditions of this strength, resilience and wisdom within us all along, as the lotus grows in the murkiest of waters to reveal it's beauty. For at times we may feel like we are stuck or overwhelmed by all the chaos, pain and suffering that comes within in this earth realm to only to find that even in this environment there is something beautiful that is also present.
Fees and Session Length
Fees for an individual therapy session is $160 for a 50 minute session and $230 for a 75 minute session.

Mental health coverage is provided by most insurance companies in Ontario covering registered social worker, you will receive an invoice for each session which can be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement purposes.
Session lengths are determined based on the client's goals and needs during the course of our work together. The duration of therapy is determined through the work itself as we check-in on what the focus of our work is at this time, as clients feel that therapy can be both a short term or a long term service based on their needs. As a commitment to make therapy more accessible and affordable I also offer a sliding scale on a case by case basis for post-secondary and graduate students at this time who may benefit from a reduced rate.
